Apply for a 2016-2017 Student Wellness Grant

The 2016-2017 Student Wellness Grants are sponsored by The Wellness Project and the Office of the Secretary and Vice President for Student Life. All Yale University students and student groups are invited to apply for up to $1,000 in funding for programs and events that foster an environment where wellness is valued and intentionally embraced by students. Proposed projects should seek to address one of the six areas of wellness – emotional, physical, social, intellectual, professional, or spiritual well-being – and should strive to create an event or program that is creative and engaging for those involved. The committee is open to a diverse range of activities and projects. View a list of grants accepted in the 2015-2016 application cycle.

The deadline to apply is Friday, October 7th at 5:00 p.m. The grants will be evaluated by The Wellness Project committee, which includes students. The committee expects that all budgets and other supporting materials submitted as part of the grant application are as accurate as possible. Please note that if your grant is accepted, you will be required to submit a brief final report upon completion of the project.

Please note: The Wellness Project will not fund events or projects involving alcohol. Please consult the Office of Risk Management website for information on managing risks associated with student activities. The Student Organizations website also provides resources regarding event planning, safety, and university regulations.
