  • Calm FREE
    Calm is an app for iPhone and Android that gives you resources for and helps guide you through meditation. The desktop version of Calm also provides 2 to 20 minute meditation guides with visuals and audio.
     
  • Insight Timer Meditation Timer FREE
    Insight Timer is an app for iPhone and Android that serves as a timer for meditation that comes with guided meditations from several famous teachers.
     
  • Mindfulness Coach  FREE
    Mindfulness Coach is an app available for iPhone developed by the Department of Defense’s National Center for Telehealth and Technology and the VA’s National Center for PTSD that walks you through different forms of mindfulness meditations and provides resources about mindfulness.
     
  • Take a Break! FREE
    Take a Break! is an iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone app that provides you with guided meditations.

  • MindShift FREE
    MindShift is an app for iPhone and Android that provides you with resources regarding anxiety and how to deal with anxiety-inducing situations.
     
  • Mood 24/7 FREE
    Mood 24/7 is a basic online site that helps you track your mood online and allows you to input your mood information via text, which you can later print.
     
  • Mood Panda - FREE
    Mood Panda is a web site as well as an app for iPhone and Android that helps you track your mood and provides various ways to visualize your mood over the past few weeks.
     
  • Optimism - FREE
    Optimism is a desktop application, site, and app for iPhone that allows you to keep track of various aspects of your mental health, focusing especially on mood charts.
     
  • T2 Mood Tracker - FREE
    T2 Mood Tracker is an app for iPhone and Android developed by the National Center for Telehealth and Technology that lets you monitor and track different aspects of your emotional health over time.
     
  • Thought Box FREE
    Thought Box is an app for iPhone that stores ideas you have in one place and allows you to review them later.
     
  • Worry Box FREE
    Worry Box is an app for Android that lets you list and record your worries and then list steps to address them or view resources on thinking about them differently.

  • Fooducate FREE
    Fooducate is an app for iPhone and Android that allows you to scan food choices at the store and check to see how the food ranks on a grading system based on whether the food is processed and has built-in nutrients.
     
  • ShopWell FREE
    ShopWell is an online site as well as an app for iPhone and Android that allows you to scan products to get a personalized food score based on your specific profile.
     

Exercise and Weight Loss

  • Charity Miles - FREE
    Charity Miles is an app for iPhone and Android that allows you to earn money for selected charities, at up to 10¢ per mile for biking and 25¢ per mile for walking or running. Charities include the ASPCA, Autism Speaks, the Nature Conservancy, Habitat for Humanity, the World Food Programme, and the Wounded Warrior Project, among others.
     
  • Fitbit - FREE
    Fitbit has many products available, including a free app that helps you track your exercise, log your food intake, record your sleep, and track your weight, even if you don’t have a physical Fitbit tracker.
     
  • GAIN Fitness - FREE
    GAIN Fitness is an app for iPhone that helps you guide your workouts, with many different training styles and instructions for exercises available.
     
  • Instant Heart Rate - $1.99
    Instant Heart Rate is an app for iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone that uses your phone camera to measure your heart rate and visualizes and logs it for your reference. The app also includes the StandUp Test to help you check your heart’s strength.
     
  • My Fitness Pal - FREE
    My Fitness Pal, available for desktop, iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone, helps you log your workouts and keep a food diary. Look up the form of exercise or the food you’ve eaten, and the app will automatically generate the number of calories you’ve burned or consumed along with your nutritional intake for every day of the week. Easily keep track of your exercise and nutritional goals everywhere you go.

    Sleepbot is an app for iPhone and Android that tracks your sleeping patterns, including movement and sound, and allows you to graph this information.
     
  • SleepCycle $.99 iPhone / $1.69 Android
    SleepCycle is an app for iPhone and Android that analyzes your sleep and sets an alarm that wakes you up in your lightest sleep phase.
     
  • Smart Alarm Clock $1.99
    Smart Alarm Clock is an app for iPhone that tracks your sleep and gives you different options for the tune used for the alarm.

Productivity

  • Concentrate FREE
    Concentrate is an extension for Google Chrome that blocks you from accessing distracting sites. You list the sites on the app and decide how long to block them. Concentrate also works in incognito mode.
     
  • Focus Filter FREE
    Focus Filter is a program that allows you to block distracting sites you select across all web browsers.
     
  • LeechBlock FREE
    LeechBlock is an extension for Mozilla Firefox that allows you to decide which sites to block and during what periods of time during the day. The extension also provides you with information about how much time you spend on those sites when they are unblocked.
     
  • SelfControl FREE
    SelfControl is a program for Mac that allows you to block access to distracting sites, servers, or other Internet resources.
     
  • Unstuck FREE
    Unstuck is an app for Android and iPhone as well as an online site that acts as a digital coach to help get you through moments when you are feeling unproductive, uninspired, or unsure how to proceed.
